Seems as though the Monster 3DIIvoodo2 card output plug to monitor has *staple* like devices attached to the pins.  At first I saw 1 bent away, but then there are 2 rows, and I saw a 2nd one bent away from the pins as well.  I believe that they are a fuse or fusable link that melts in case of a spike or overvoltage.  By smelling the plug, I senced a *burnt* smell.  I ordered 2 more cards, as I found a great deal, not as good as I was offered, but I didn't want to burden the fine folks here, in case I was wrong.  I put the 2 Monsters in in SLI Mode, and ....now I get 40 FPS, instead of 25 to 30, and still can't kill anyone!   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)  hehehe
