I was getting very good with the new bomb system, now all the sudden Im missing BIGTIME. Ive even tried offline, with ideal conditions, and there is no way to hit anything.
So is there a new bug, or am I having a moment of DUH?

Check out the thread called "New Bombing Method Totally Explained" in the Help and Training Forum. It is an excellent post by Kweassa detailing the new system. Good luck!

Ummm no
Im very accurate in the "new" system, but since 1.13 everyting falls short.

I'm surprised you can even make a bomber take off in 1.13, let alone find any thing to bomb.

ALF,
I haven't had any problems with the new bombing system. The key to accurate bombing, for me at any rate, is to make a long speed calculation. Although holding the "Y" key while you do the ground track for 2 seconds will get you a green light to bomb, the calibration will be much more accurate if you tilt the sight forward and then track for 30 seconds. Or more.
All of my buff missions are above the wind layer at 14k, and I get consistantly accurate drops. My drops are usually made at 90% throttle, delay 0.6, 500 lbers, from an altitude above the target from 12,000 to 15,000 ft.
My biggest problem is getting lined up early enough to let my speed stabilize and do a long calibration.
Good luck!

P.S. The length of time you calibrate doesn't have to be so long...15 seconds is okay.

I've found anything less than 60 seconds to be "ify". Sometimes accurate, sometimes not, maybe it's just me. Suggest practicing calibration offline with divebomb sight on to gauge the accuracy of your calibraion.

This is the only proper way to evaluate and improve your bombing calibration skills - perhaps easier to go to Training Arena to do since all the arena settings are already done for you.

When you practice, it's important to have some crosswind to deal with. That way, you have to practice calibrating the left/right drift as well as your speed.
I've gotten pretty good at holding the crosshairs very accurately over a point. The key is to pan the sight forward before you hit "y", so that the prominent point you pick will move towards you, then under and past you, giving you the best view possible. Don't forget to zoom in.
I've had good results with times as short as 15 seconds, but only when calibrated very close to the target. I wouldn't expect to do a 15 second calibration 3 minutes before "bombs away" and get good results.

I've had my bombs consistently dropping short since patch 3 came out, whereas I could almost always hit with a reasonable accuracy before that. I have used 5-10 second calibrations IMMEDIATELY before bomb release and still dropped short. IMO there is a bug in the bombing since patch 3. Maybe the calibration routine has been modified?
