I just got a Dual p3/500, win2k, 516 MB RAM, with a GF4 Ti4200. At any resolution, and color depth, with mipmapping on or off, I get freaky jagged shapes that flicker all around the screen. I've attached a couple of screenshots. Sorry about the quality, but I haven't installed photoshop yet. Help!!!!!

Not too much I know about this, but you may want to try different versions of your graphic card's driver, and also try downloading the latest directX (http://www.microsoft.com/directx).

I've already downloaded the last three versions of my card's driver, plus directx 8.1b.
Thanks, though.

Are there ANY remnants of old video drivers still on the machine?
Did u completely remove the old drivers before installing new ones?

No vestiges of old drivers... This is a clean install on a new machine, freshly formatted.

What would I be looking for there? My desktop resolution is 1280/1024. I lowered it on a whim, but no dice. The jagged blocks change when I move my mouse (Logitech USB trackball). The odd thing is that the tower, clipboard, and target drones all look fine. Some of the remote terrain flickers, though.

Another idea, have you tried lowering the graphic card's acceleration? Right click on desktop, properties, settings, advanced, somewhere along there is something called machine graphic acceleration or so (I don't run an english windows version so I don't know exactly what). You can try lowering it one notch and see if it may help, if not, try lowering again.

I've emailed support@hitechcreations.com about this problem and have had no response. I know you just got back from the con, guys, but what gives? I upgraded my computer mainly to play AH, my favorite game.

Looks exactly like what I had before installing Service Pack 1 for win2000, as your doing a clean install I'm guessing that you haven't done these yet. Just posted the same reply in another thread... hope it helps one of you at least.

Have you tried limiting the FR in the video setup of AH? Had a friend that had a similar problem and this helped.

I added SP2 for win2k andall is well... 45-60 frames per sec. Smooth, and Hi-res....
Thanks for all the suggestions, but I never did hear back from HTC. As someone who works in a support role in a large company, ignoring your customers is a cardinal sin.
