The last thing Thunder saw in the F4U-1 musta been a bit blinding :)  but It's ok cause they won in the p-51 and the SpitV, I just had to take one with the -1 :D

do those fully down flaps help your turning?

At low speed flaps = life

yes

but use only when absolutely necessary, and remember to raise them when no longer needed or they will keep you slow.
