No kidding, I think I will only drive M8 this tour  Its High ENY and frankly the enemy isn't sure what to do - especially if you have a gunner (though scoring sucks in this regard).

Three of my deaths in M8 were with a gunner but we killed 3 to 4 GVs for each death. But even with that10 kills and 4 death "offiicial" hell not so shaggy  (Not to mention laughing my bellybutton off the entire time  )

In my best sortie I was my m8 vs. 1 M16 1 Ostwind and 2 Tanks. I went charging in at 60 MPH disabled the M16 first (driving from turret) then shifted to Ostind (took 3 shots) took out his gun then still hauling bellybutton went between the 2 tanks they were covering. I pickeed closest one took out his main gun circled gentle (fast) left - second tank could not bring his gun to bear took him out 2 shots, then as I completed my turn dispatched first tank (he took 5 more hits!) and headed rtb.

Only got assists on M16 and Ostwind (grrr) - but this little vacation sortie sold me on the M8.  I "flew" it  like an aircraft sortie - and i think most gv drivers are just not ready to defend against that.


edit to add: ON that best sortie the best part was when all 4 of them reupped at spawn point ans started trying to hit my rtb M8. Shells were exploding everywhere they were pissed, but they didnt get me. This was the best part. :)

Hey i used to think same way - but hell results talk.  M8 should really be perked but not enough using it (correctly).  :)  You are right 2 hits most M8 goes boom.  But only a fool would leave this cat sitting on the litter box.

M8 is built to be fired while on the run.  Turret traverses very fast, rate of fire very good- all mounted on a chassis that does 60 MPH (i.e. they cant hit you).  Try it in this fashion it might just grow on you. :)

Thanks brady, im going to bed tonight with knowledge I left a good accounting of my virtual self  :)   The SP14 kill was the last of the 10, and a nice way to go to bed.  But the Sortie I accouted above, that was one of best times I had in AH ever.  The whole time I was sure I was gonna die :)  Sometimes bold is better than brilliant.

WTG Turbot.  Way to do something different.  THere are sooooo many different aspects to AH and many are not visited by a good percentage of the players.  Sounds like you found another Aces High"spark" for yourself!
