Title: The most problems came with patch 4

Well, I haven't been able to download it yet, the first time I tried the autodownload and tried to install it I got the error message "Could not initialize installation (CRC)"
Then I downloaded patch 4 from the site, but when I tried to install that I got "Access to specified file, device, or path is denied"
Anyone help me?

This might be a reach....

Did you post in the Technical Support forum?  Or email their tech support?  Or call them?

I've not run into those errors before, but when I had trouble with a patch before, it turned out that the only thing to do was to download the whole game.  It'll take awhile, especially if you're on a phone line like me, but it's almost a sure fix.

Reboot try again.  It is a tiny patch.

Technical Support forum: Yes, but it takes forever to get a reply there, but not in the General Discussion, Aurerelis was very helpful though.

I would copy all of your config files (keymaps, sounds, gunsights, etc) to another directory.

Un-install the entire game

download the complete install

Install the game from scratch

Copy your custom files back over.

If you have a fast internet connection - seriously consider downloading the full version.  I would be a little afraid something is corrupted in your setup at this point.  (Save your configuration files so you dont have to setup your stick again etc.)

(There is also a Resend Your Password button when you enter into the Acehigh program.)
