Working towards a bachelor of science in biology at University of Louisville. Ultimate goal is to be some type of marine biologist. We have any biologist in Aces High?
-
I should have one in human biology as much as I once played 'doctor'...
-
I majored in Bio Sci, graduated in 1979 from
California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo (try to fit that on a window sticker!)
taught elementary science for 5 years then never used it again.
Does that count?

CPSU of SLO ;/
will that fit ?
or
my machine : SLO CPU
-
yea yea,
My actual sticker was "Cal Poly SLO"
Where men are men and so are the women.

Word of warning... biology is considered a soft science. If you can't find a job in the field, you are not going to be able to use it towards any kind of engineering job.
Marine biology is particularly tough to get into. If you don't already have connections, you're in for an uphill battle.

fdiron,
Email me at wulfie14@hotmail.com.
I worked a great deal in the field you want to get into.
I'm not a marine biologist, but I trained them in some required skills at some of the best marine biology programs in the world. We'll talk on the phone.
midnight Target - ME from SLO here! :)

I've been studying the ways of the bearded clam for years, can I be a marine biologist too?
-
I have grown some good cultures in my lifetime. Thankfully none have been in bearded clams.
Seriously though, like they say Marine Biology is very difficult to get into after college.
-
Lol RA.

No Chit!?
When were you there? Didja ever climb Bishops Peak drunk? Cow tip? I stayed in SLO for 6 years after school trying to earn a living. Eventually got tired of being poor and had to leave.
