How do you make the radio window go away when viewing film ?

You cannot.

You may want to watch the film in the AH Film viewer.  At least then it places the film and the text in a different window.  It also has the option to disable the voice comms playback.

You can drag the voice box way to the botton of the screen so only a small part of it is showing.
