Title: An illuminated gunsight is not illuminated at night and overcast.
Post by: Mitsu on August 18, 2002, 12:38:51 AM
It is still dark at these weathers. :(
I think that the problem happens because the light mapping is enabled to gunsight (or reticle).

So, if the light mapping is disabled to gunsight or reticle, will this problem be solved?

I think it's a limitation of their graphic engine Mitsu....I think they only have a single lightsource (the sun) available.  This is why we don't have vehicle headlights, searchlights, in-cockpit lights, etc.  I'm sure it could be changed, but the amounbt of work it'd require might be staggering.
