Hi, looking at the screenshot on your web site it looks very reminicent of W**B***S (Can I say it? (http://beta.hitechcreations.com/ubb/smile.gif) ) is it an updated version of the graphsim engine same as W**B***S?

It's an all new engine, but many of the basic techiques are the same.

HTC dudes please tell me if I'm right on this.
I realy have no clue, BUT! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) here's my take on why AH looks similar to WB. It's all in the texture. When WB first went 3d it was the only terrain that gave me the feeling of going fast on the deck.
I think I know why. It had dots in the terrain, little small ones that look like bushes to me. But these dots going by real fast is what I think gave the feeling of fast movement. Aces High has the same "dots" on the terrain. Hense then similar look.
Am I even remotely close here? HT? Pyro?

"Basic techniques" are the same, which is apparently why the basic problems like icons and planes sorting under the terrain are also the same (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Including the 'killed-icon' whizzing by at Mach 3 to homebase of WB 1.xx (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Those (killed icon) always give me the creeps as they zoom by, especially when half a dozen in a bunch go, it feels like a poltergiest attack (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

A lot of the techniques are the same because we've all worked on WB for at least 2 years or more each. We started off with what we knew worked, while also experimenting with new and different things. I think the further along we go, the more the gap between the similarities with WB & AH will increase.
