Title: Feild capture messages

Just a suggestion. Could we change the feild capture message system?

It's currently like:

Feild 71 has been captured by the Bishops.

Now normally when I see that, I would bring up my map, search around for feild 71, and see if we lost it, or the rooks lost it.

What I am suggesting is:

Feild 71 has been lost by the Knights and captured by the Bishops

Good Suggestion. I often wonder the same thing but I never take the time to figure out who lost the field. (Especially on the larger map).

I think this would be pretty easy to implement.

Something I was thinking about as well. Why don't we get a message telling us whether or not we hit the CV when we bomb or torpedo it? I don't mean when we sink it. I mean when you drop the first bomb on it. More often then not, I die from the ack cloud and have no idea if the CV was hit or not.

Both of these messages would be quite helpful and appreciated.

I would prefer.

LOL! This way people might start defending it sooner. (Right after its captured). :D

Nothing against the original idea... I just find it funny that people generally care more about what they just lost than protecting it in the first place.

what i would like is instead of the global base under attack

I would like it range specific like AHV range channel is. I would also like a text message that says field 14 under attack.

All (A71) your (rook) base are belong to us (bishop)
