For ratings the stupick diddlys show a dog being gased. How freking sick are these guys.
http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/08/19/terror.tape.chemical/index.html
-
Everyone knows dogs are for loving.
-
BTW:I didn't watch the video and I am not going too. I was talking to a freind and he told me about, so I looked on the site, and sure enough it was there. It would have been a lot easier to say "We have found tapes showing Al queda chemical tests". Than to show a dog being frekkin gased. CNN makes it sound like this is new news...Yeah everyone knows Iraq has chemical weapons...and if they have them, Al Quida sure will. Some pretty sick guys at Cnn
-
[The coalition sources said no intelligence agency is believed to have seen such poison-gas experiments before this tape
... And I'm the queen of England. (French Idiom).
-
Do these intelligenct agencys live 100000 ft under ground? Everyone saw/knows of Saddam's "Test" of his chemical weapons.
-
It's American propaganda for the Average American. Of course any intelligence organization is aware of this for years.
"We didn't know about it" is more fogiven than "we knew but did nothing". The average public opinion has no understanding of the complexity of the geopolitical situation and it's answer is mostly : "Let's nuke the bastards... yeah!".
In the Intelligence business you are often fighting with one hand tied in the back to try to minimize the secondary effects of your actions.

What they are saying is that this is an Al Quaeda test. Not Iraqi.

If we all know this then why all the hubub about whether we should attack Iraq?
-
And by who are they trained for?

Didn't read my post earlier Midnight did you? How about creating a vague of retaliation in pro-American countries by the Arab coalition supporting Irak and outraged by a military action on oppressed Irak?
Oh you don't care, it's not in your backyard ... yet.

I keep clicking the wrong button my bad :D

Come on, evil taliban gassing a dog.

But if its done over there its TERRORISM

What i find sick is the fact that CNN charges you to see it's videos. (the last time i checked at least). So to see people/animals suffering you have to pay a fee.
-
Yeah, but CNN is throwing this video around like they are proud of it or somthing.
-
We shouldn't overlook the potential for important news, here. This tells us a lot about CNN

Hate to see this, and as much as I can't stand CNN I believe they chose a good time to provide a simple and graphic reminder of who we are dealing with. It has nothing to do with what we've done in testing on animals... it's what THEY will do with thier testing. The public need little things like this (unfortunately) or the next thing you know we'll have whacko's trying to set up support groups and therapy session's for these animals (err... Tal/AQ, I suppose animal's is too good a description).

It's the media. WE are the product being sold.
It's all about advertising and selling our attention.
Turn it off. You might find you like the world more that way.

I hate dogs.
-
i find it highly doubtful that after ocupying Afghanistan for nearly a year, this videotape surfaces just now. Were i the present u.s. gov't, i would love to use 09/11/03 & the associated sentiment to kick start a pre-election was with Iraq. I infer the tape suggesting that Iraq, the only known holder & user of chem/bio weapons in the moslem world, has obvioulsy supplied the Al Queda terrorists (pronounced "trsts") with such & desereves punishment.
they're all controlled by the CIA or some other less visible organization & have been so since the Nixon/Bush wing of the repiblican party took over the white house 34 years ago.
you may think i'm nuts, but i think you're naive
-
Ahh yes the dreaded Nixon/Bush team sure took over the party exactly 34 years ago...
I bet you get called nuts a lot, right?

Concerning the initial post
Possibly the saddest and scariest tape of all those included in the archive of 64 al Qaeda tapes obtained by CNN is the one that shows the killing of three dogs.
I'm pretty shocked by the coment I've outlined ...
How can the death of a dog be more saddest and scariest than the death of a human ?
-

then they sold the dog to a Korean meat market ....
heard they also sprayed some guy in a afgany market place with some chemical, followed him home & watched him die two days later...
I don't need to see a video to realize the world will be a better place when these sand sucking raghead animals are toast ...
-
Guess which country played the major role in developing chemical and biological weapons:
1. USSR
2. USA
3. Afghanistan
4. Iraq
(Hint: It wasn't Afghanistan...or Iraq.)
Guess which country has killed the most dogs testing chemical and biological weapons:
1. USSR
2. USA
3. Afghanistan
4. Iraq
(Hint: It wasn't Afghanistan...or Iraq.)

I can't believe you guys are up in arms over a frikkin mutt. About a year ago these same a-holes killed 3000 humans, remember?
Anyone who creates chemical weapons tests them on animals. And dogs are being killed in your local dog pound right now. I hear they stick em in a chamber and suck out the air.
Also, there are reportly some human beheadings on the tape which CNN didn't show, so you can't accuse CNN of maximizing the shock value in this case.
But CNN does suck.

I don't think that we are mad that the killed the dog, or that they showed it on CNN. What bugs us is that by gassing the dog, they rendered it inedible.

Maybe yer getting dogs confused with the lesser animals that are getting the air sucked out of their containers..

i readily admit that i am a freak, but i figure whatever points i lose on that i make back on interesting & unique points of view...i use to be involved with an investment newsletter the concept of which was that by correctly predicting political events, one could make wise investment choices. as a result the newletter was very into gathering interesting intelligence info. you would surprised (& probably offended) at some of the info available in D.C. that goes unreported
-
Just a couple of notes here. Lots of folks castigating CNN but this was also on NBC last night.
Seriously, would you have believed the report had there been no video or would you have just figured it was another "trumped up" report just to capture ratings. Seems to me that most folks only believe what they can see, not just what someone tells them. This was just a reminder of the kind of "people" we are dealing with here. They are NOT the average folks you meet on the street. They have declared a war on the general population of this country and do not have any regard as to how they kill you. This goes for age, denomination, (except for the "good muslims" living here of course) or lifestyle.
If this had been released by the federal govt. I'd bet there would be plenty of posts about how this was a made up situation just to "inflame" the population to garner support. You know, you can be TOO cynical at times.
As to the fate of the dog. I feel sorry for it but I feel much more sorry for the 3,000 innocent PEOPLE who were killed by the same animals that killed the dog.
-
The public need little things like this (unfortunately)
IMO Watching the WTC's go down was enough, I dont think people need to see a dog die to know that Al Quedia is our enemy.
I can see CNN"s headline tomorrow:
Terrioits test Nuclear weapon on cat: Click here to view video
