If you met a real Spit Ace, what would you ask him (doent have to be just one question .)

Oh, I'd ask any number of things.  I've found in the past that when I meet actual aces, I'm more interested in the stories they have to tell than in focusing on the miniutia upon which combat flight sim pilots tend to dwell.  So I'd be less interested in asking him about the handling qualities of the Spit or how it compared to the 109G10 or 190A8 than I would be in asking him about his most memorable mission, or how he earned his wings.

The richest stuff will be, in my experience, in those kinds of stories.  I loved, back in the 2000 WB Con, hearing Gabreski talk about his first A2A kill, or his experiences at Pearl Harbor, or how he goofed and wound up being captured by the Germans.
