Title: What kind of dog do you have?

The one in the foreground is Rosco. He's an idiot of just under two years age.

The one in the back is the bright one, Petey. He's six years old.

Roxy, age 9.. still on guard. "ever vigilant". These terriers are wicked smart, very loyal, and stubborn as any scotsman ever born.

chow/pit mix, I've had her 12 years, one of the best family dogs I've ever had.

Post by: AKDejaVu on August 21, 2002, 12:03:12 AM: 5 year old German Shepard (f): psycho squeak that's afraid of her own shadow. She need affection every 15 minutes or else she starts to worry we don't love her any more.

11 year old Border Collie/Springer Spaniel/Australian mix (m): Has lived 10 3/4 years of his life with a frisbee or a tennis ball in his mouth.

11 year old Golden Retriever/Collie mix (m): Is so fat and lazy that he lays down to eat. He also has 1 1/2" incisors and a head that just fits through the cat door. This has caused several near heart attacks on my doorstep.

PS Lol AKDeja!, my grandparants have a dog named buster, Boston tarrier, but looks & sounds more like a pig! so fat he can hardly walk & he makes a snorting sound lol!... But they will talk to him and he knows exactly what they are saying, its funny, my grandmother will say "get in the tub u stink" & he'll do it!

btw - love boxers - had one as a kid 0 - 11 years old

Queenie was so strong she'd jump a chain link fence with a cinder block tied to her rope, drag it down the road while it busted to pieces behind her..

the garbage men didn't share my affection for her :)

This was my "best friend". His name was Scooter and he was a Dachshund, which is German for Badgerdog .

He was an integral part of our family for over 16 years, however, on Monday he told me it was finally his time and we had to take him to the Vet for one last visit. For obvious reasons, I don't post here personally very much anymore, but I wanted to share a my sense of deep loss, with those of you whom I've shared an on-line virtual friendship in our flight sim hobby over these many years.

I will miss him..... gone, but not forgotten.

Vet says she is part coyote. She is very clever and a royal pain to everyone except family. One good thing is she has snapped at every new boyfriend my daughter ever brought home...

Post by: Maverick on August 23, 2002, 03:06:08 PM: No pix, sorry. I just have a couple of "rescue" dogs. Got them both from the local shelter "rescue" adoption agencies. Both are mixed mutts. One is mostly lab and rotweiler (Becket) and the other is just a heinz 57 (Ginger). The same for the 2 cats, one of which has terminal cancer. Our 2 ferrets were obtained from a store. I decided to "rescue" them from the circumstances and provide entertainment for my wife while she was recovering from cancer chemo etc. at the time. It gasve her much to laugh at watching them play. :)
