Title: Do guns of a buff formation converge

In other words do all three tail gunners aim at the enemy or just aim parallel with the one you're controlling ?

I'm 99% certain they aim parallel to where you are firing.  I've come roughly dead 6 up a drone before and had no fire hit me, as the drone would have been firing off to one side.

The gunning positions on EACH buff fire parallel,

but  the gun streams of the three buffs converge at 1 k.  

There you get the maximun firepower in one point.

u can test this by using the .target command.  Remember the target will always be due north of you.  SO fly south, and see where the bullets land on the target.

I believe the different buff's guns all converge based on your convergance settings.

Convergence settings of gunners effects only the gun sight settings of the single gunning position.
Usually you set them to maximum 600yards.

But for normal attackers (not the moron who creep up your six) you have to take a lot of lead, so the convergence setting is not real important.
You must be aware of the force, Young Yedi. ;)

The convergence of the whole formation can't be altered.
At least not the normal mortal.
Maybe Hitech will attach a dot command some day.
But the 1k convergence works fine.
