Lol...I first fired up WWIIOL (last time I played was more than 1 month ago). I played for 30 min...then I logged...
Then I trained bombing with the Ar 234 offline....
Then I downloaded WBIII :o and toyed a bit with the 109 and the F86....well this one won't last long on my HDD...not for me.
Then I waited....
Then AH came back to life...so did I....
Am I deeply addicted, Doc? Where is the nearest 'Anonymous AHers' center?
(Btw I just unsubscribed from WWIIOL...not bad, but 10$ aren't worth the meagre 2 hours /month average i'm playing it....
HTC gimme back my soul dammit!)

Been riding the motorcycle at night in place of Aces High. Ran into an ex girlfriend I dated back in 1995....eeek! To quote the song, "Run, Run Away" :D

I cooked, chatted then played Neverwinter Nights.
It's what I did the night before too. And the previous night, though that was more scripting for NWN than playing.
I basically play AH on Friday nights (squad night and TOD/Snapshot) and some on Saturdays. I rarely log on during the week (except for an interesting Snapshot).

I basically freaked out.
I even had the day off, so i was ready for a day long AH session. So both the game and bbs fo down. "Fudge" i say. Worse yet is the weather is the pits outside so i cant busy myself out of doors.
So i log into Yahoo games "go fish" card game. I then proceed to kick the crap out of everyone until the point where my rank was too high and no one would play me anymore. (I played this game CONSTANTLY with my grandmother when i was wee.)
Or maybe they were scared and confused by terms like: wtfg, , bastage, and "hey you just stole three of my kings you face shooting HO dweeb!"

Well, I watched a lot more TV than I usually do - I didn't even have to ask "what happened then?" once! :D Every so often I moved over to the computer desk and tried once again to see if I could access HTC, in between updating the Bigweek Newsgroup every half hour or so to see if there was any news. At least I got an early night for once! :) Then, this morning when I got up, I was totally lost - think I even got to work on time! :p

Yes, being unemployed is really rotten. And what makes it worse, is management types at companies looking for help do not want to hire anyone that has a remote chance of making them look bad. Bunch of insecure idiots.

Not the kind of person I want to work for Box.
If they are not looking to hire someone to replace them, then I do not want to be there. If you are good at what you do, then you look for someone to replace you so you can advance.
You do that so when you get that chance to advance and have to recommend someone to replace you, you can do so without fear of making a bad decision, which will haunt you.
Been looking for a couple of weeks. Only gotten a couple of nibbles so far. This is the longest I have been out of work since I got out of college.

I started to go for a jog in my new running shoes but 5 minutes into the run a very ugly thundercloud came after me so I went back home and read a bit more of "The Soldiers' Story" regarding the fall of Saigon, watched Tamyra Grey get wrongfully eliminated from "American Idol" (she was the best reason to watch the show - looks like Kelly Clarkson will have to carry the audience now), then watched a documentary about the Pan Am jet that went down over Lockerbie.
