Not good enough! Don't make me come down there with a can of spray paint! (http://beta.hitechcreations.com/ubb/smile.gif)
In all seriousness. The 4th FG was the highest scoring fighter group in the ETO. If any one deserves the colors on the P-51D, it's them. I can live with the B’s getting the blue nose.
Please….
Pretty Please…

BadMan, I will ask the question we all know you wanted to ask.
"Why is the tail on the Pony red, which is for the 328th FS/352nd FG, instead of a Blue tail for the 487th FS? After all, the "Bluenosed Bastards of Bodney were one of the highest scoring, most decorated squadrons of WW2. Plus, it was commanded by the highest scoring Mustang ace of the war."
There BadMan, don't you feel better now that I've asked the important question? (http://beta.hitechcreations.com/ubb/smile.gif)

HEHE. Close Dune. But no ceeegar!

I know it's hard to on you poor folks to be second...oops...Sorry...Wolf pack was second...er what'd your guys come in? Third? (http://beta.hitechcreations.com/ubb/smile.gif)
Well I’m sure your Blue nosers did there best. What matters is you tried. (http://beta.hitechcreations.com/ubb/smile.gif)

Taxiing, revetments, ground targets of opportunity? How about some random rail traffic and bridges, dams, V1/V2 launch sites, fuel dumps....
Did I mention strafing?
