To substitute for intercom communication with pilot, we need certain information in bombsite. Speed readout would seem most critical of those missing now.

Airspeed, course, salvo size, and delay setting.

agree.
windsheer indicator that we can learn to read and adjust for.
a way to do the mark target with a mouse or anything other than a joystick which is barely capable of doing it. sure if we all had tiny joysticks it would be easy to track but most of us have force feedback or high sprung types that make it almost impossible.

Over in the Gameplay forum, I have a post explaining (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=576137#post575968) how to work out the wind triangle to get the drift correction angle without having to do all the math or buy an E-6B Flight Computer (actually, it's more like an aviation slide rule).

Yes airspeed would be handy to read in the bombsight, as for salvo and delay it already gives us that info.

"All of the above"

please?

Acutually Ki-67 bomber had speed indicator and altimeter in bombardier room. :)

I was actually looking at that the other night... we have the drop (calibration) alt and our current alt, knowing the calibration speed vs current speed would help as well!
Pleeease?? It's only a line of text ;)

YES!!
NEEDED!!
Air speed on bombsite! Simple and great idea! Easy to code!
:D
