Lets reason why Nasa does allow such civilians...young girls all over the USA will be paying taxes and voting in 10 years or less, you want to keep your Nasa budget up....;)

Didn't see a whole lot of grief on this board when the last rich American paid for his ride in space. What's the difference?

If he wants to spend 20 million on a space ride and someone is willing to take the money then so be it. I imagine that many of us would do the same if we had the money.

I wonder how selective NASA is?  Would they, for instance, allow Ozzie Osborne to go in space if he had the money, passed the physical? How about Saddam Hussein if he had the cash?
