Didn't realize the "gunners/observers" straffed in chutes or on ground counted as kills. :(
Still it was a good night. to the JG2 for destroying the dog pound.

Am I missing something? I thought TOD was one flight per pilot. How did the above happen?

Thats a very good question Muckmaw. I can confirm that this is exactly what the log states and not an error on my part. I will see if I can get more info on this.
-
BTW Muckmaw, did your squad have some difficulty with your squad settings during that frame which required you to make changes to the squad name?? The logs suggest that your squad name changed half way through the frame!

If you continue patting that back Wotan, you might get arthritis ;)

I'm not sure. IceMAW is the CO of TOD.
I know we had to change the roster to make room for pilots who came in replacement for others.
We also restructered the MAW recently. Perhaps this had something to do with it.

they didnt. this event had no radar. if you were in your chute and on the ground you were there for over 10 min. After we killed the last spitfire we were rtb. we expected the guys on the ground to exit flight. they were still there.
They could have been diverting a follow up attack around us or calling in new fighters. My aquaddies expressed concern over this and since we were lo and rtb to rearm we thought it best to kill you guys on the ground so you wouldnt be able to give out information.
Anyone who was on th ground was there for a good bit.

It appears that a great many were not aware of one plane
