Is it just me, or does it seem that any country in this corner seems to lose? I don't know if it's just me, but it sure seems to be true.
The only explaination I can find is that the SE corner's city is VERY easy to kill.
Tonight the Knights are down in that corner and getting beaten upon by both countries. Thursday the bishops were down in that corner and they were reset by both countries. Earlier in the tour the same thing happened to the rooks.
Has anybody else noticed this?

Hhmm... No...
Odd...
That's the first I've heard about this. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

OK, If you'd asked this 2 hours ago, I'd said your full of mud (we were northern country). Well, we just reset the lower right (SE) country. So... Yes! This map is terribly imbalanced!
Give natedog a wedgie!

Its very evident that the SE corner gets its butt handed to it more often than not. There are several theories, some of which look at the vulnerability of the HQ, and the dificulty of defending several key bases.
Im not sure just what it is, but seems that 3/4 of the time the side on the lower right is the one who loses unless team numbers are scewed heavily in favor of that SE team.

I can't figure out exactly why this is true. (Maybe it's just a coincidence?) It is true that nearly every reset I've seen on this map has been the country in the SE...
I know what it is: Most people here are right handed. This means that given no direction they tend to pull their joysticks to the right more often than left. This would result in them drifting toward the SE corner! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

It is true in the islands Map, as it was the same in the South country in the lake Map. Anyone mentioned the word bucket, anywhere? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Has anyone ever seen good fight at N mainland? Me neither...
Someone could do a study of dynamics in MA and determine why SE country always gets itself killed.

I've noticed this too but I think its just coincidence. The map looks well balanced and even.

Might just be a tendency for humans to attack lower right corners?

You guys might want to read my composition on the strategics dynamics of the ndisles terrain on the mognrel website: http://peterson.gm.is/?cat=16 (http://peterson.gm.is/?cat=16)
It offers a fairly simple explanation of the SE country being barrel corner.
To counterpoint this, I have to mention that we nits managed to reset even though being in the SE corner two days ago. It might have something to do with us being more numerous than bish and rook put together :-)

I can only recall one "good" invasion of the northern land. It started with me killing the acks on 57 and someone else (sorry, forgot who) bringing in a goon. We ended up with everything west of a line from 58 to 59.
The SE deffinately ends up in the bucket more often than not, unless whomever is down there has numbers and momentum on thier side.

Yeah the SE island gets gang raped a lot, but ironically whenever I'm in the SE corner of the map my k/d and k/s and k/t goes up up UP!
The fights come to me, and I can't deny that it's probably the most fun. I don't have to go very far to kill someone.

Knits got a reset on Sat. from the SE corner(we were the SE corner country), but we did have numbers.
