Title: New HD and Vid Card... no VOX
Post by: Saurdaukar on August 31, 2002, 07:56:43 PM
Hiya guys,

I recently grabbed up a new hard drive and a new graphics card.  Because of the new HD, I had to reinstall everything...

I can transmit on VOX now, but I cannot receive (the name of the transmitter doesnt even come up).  Any ideas?

AMD Athlon 1.3
GeForce 3
SB PCI 512

Got full duplex enabled in the system properties for your sound card?

I had this exact symptom about a week ago and it was due to DHCP in my linksys router giving me a different local IP which no longer matched the IP in the port-forwarding settings in my router (which are static).  See my posting about "Vox stopped receiving"..  If you have a router I'd make sure the settings match your PC's IP..
