Just a few suggestions:
Add a spectator mode.
Add some of the controls of the external Film Viwer to the ingame film viewer:
-Ignore recorded views
-Save to .AVI
The ingame renderer is much faster than the Film Viwer renderer. Just makes sence to add those two controls.
Edit: Also, could we have the ability to PW protect servers?
-
Should I take the lack of coments as a good sign?
-
The only change I'd like to have is the "ignore recorded views" be a toggelable option in the game film viewer. Films used to be easy to watch before the seperate film viewer was added, now trying to counter the recorded views is a squeak with the view keys.

Lars
there is already a 'ignore recorded views' toggle switch in the film viewer.
Just click in the box :)

Yep, that's what I was refering to also.
The film viewer is cool and the info it shows is helpfull but the inability of it to show a full screen view makes the ingame film viewer more desirable to me for casual viewing.

Let's not forget the fact that on many computers, the external film-viewer runs like a slideshow.
-
I can't pause a film mid way through and resume it... despite what the various buttons suggest. This makes taking shots of the action very time consuming and frustrating.
In fact this is a typical recipe for the thing to crash.
-
Try this if you want to crash your computer... ;)
Using the ingame film viewer load up a film and watch it for about 30 seconds or so. Then rewind it to the start using the "R" keyboard command....hard lockup everytime for me.
-
Most of my rare tries to view a film in the external or in the game film viewer end with a screen freeze or a crash to desktop.
This is the worst piece of AH software for sure! :D
I would like to get a stable film viewer with all features working
PLUS
I would like to see an external view handled by the mouse. (go all around the plane with mouse movements)
