Here are some excerpts from a recent letter from Brian "sn1p3r" Pettingell's dad:
-----------------------------------
"I was very impressed by your plans for the Tribute and am humbled by the number of people participating.
I'd like very much to join you online but, frankly, I don't think I am emotionally up to it. I know how much AH and especially the Musketeer's meant to Brian and just reading the many messages of condolence has been
difficult for us. I appreciate the offer to set up a special account for us,
it was a thoughtful gesture. Please pass along my thanks to JoAnn at HiTech.
If you can record a video of the Tribute I would enjoy seeing it at a later date.
If anyone would like to make a donation in memory of Brian, they may contact
The American Cancer Society and make a memorial Donation. They are available online at:
http://www2.cancer.org/donate/index.cfm?sc=1 (http://www2.cancer.org/donate/index.cfm?sc=1)
Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. Please pass along my thanks to all
who have posted a message on the BB and will participate in the Tribute. We are very touched by your compassion.
Regards to all,
Rob

Thank you for the information. I will make a donation in memory of Brian. I lost my Mom to the same disease 49 weeks ago.
Edit: We will need information for the card's recipient(s)so that we may donate online.

Thank you for the post. I lost my Dad to cancer three years ago. I wish them the best. If anyone is going through this and needs some help at home the Hospice was very helpful to my Dad.
