Advanced thanks! (eagerly awaiting to see whos 190's we caught refueling about 1 hour into the frame ;) )
-
If you were the spits that came in low to a26 I think it was, that was a bunch of us AK's :(
Shamus

Aye, that was us. So sorry, was REALLY hoping it was JG2 ;)
-
Is kak3 in JG2? If so, they were busy killing all of the surviving FDBs on the runway... even though we were on their team...
-
JG 2 was whiped out in the 1st 30 min.
Typhoons killed 2, they were out numbered 10 to 2
Spits killed 2 they were outnumbered
51s killed the other 2.
Was a co error in judgement. We were escort/scout for a group of 88s. I ended up Dividing my force into 3 groups.
NE a7 2 ran into typhoons
N 3 ran into 51s
NW 3 ran into high Spits.
When entering an area of hi enemy concentration never divide you forces. Fall back regroup and re engage where the enemy is weakest. Only engage on your terms.
It was a command failure.
I apologize to my squad.

Rip those were AKS

Ah Rip1 is denied his evil urges!
I, wulfie, was flying as a member of 3./JG 2!
I, wulfie, was ON THE REARM PAD at A26!
I, wulfie was scanning while on the rearm pad!
I, wulfie, had about .25 seconds to type '.ef' as you 6 SOBs popped up over the crest of the coastal plateau that A26 is located on...which is why I did not have time to warn the AKs rearming next to me - for which I am very sorry.
Rip1 - if you want a film of the crime, let me know. I've already logged all your IDs for purposes of future historical event execution. :)
And for what it's worth - those AKs flew a damn fine sortie. A good 10 minutes at 1.5-2.0:1 odds in favor of the enemy...scored several kills, and a great fighting egress. It was a great thing to watch.
Nice move you sneaky bastard. :)

Kratzer kak3 is with the MAW due to a rearming bug bombs did not load when we rearmed. Kak thought he was dropping his bomb from his fw when infact he salvoed his rockets right into the rest of the rearming planes. Everyone on the rearm pad took damage. The MAW extend its regrets and rest assured KAK was shot for wrecking his CO's plane.

Wulfie, just dumb luck, after refueling we chased some low 190's back to base, some of us(couple of squadrons remnants) broke off and and headed direct for the field assuming that the 190's we were chasing were low on fuel...plain old dumb luck.
