On behalf of everyone here at HTC, I just want to thank each and every one of you for the warm feelings and well wishes that you've bestowed upon us.  It really means a lot.  The excitement and energy level has certainly risen on our end.  

As already stated, our goal is to focus on only this one thing and keep our team small.  By doing so we can keep a close relationship to our customers and the game.  But the one thing we can't do is please everyone.  Everybody has different likes and dislikes and they're often counter to each other.  Undoubtedly, we will do things that some people don't like and we won't do things that some people would like.  So please try to keep that in mind.  

We not only want this to be fun for you, but we want it to be fun for us.  We know that the two are strongly interdependent.

Anyway, it's all very exciting to have that pioneering spirit again.  We've just announced and I'm already flooded with email.  That I will get through, and thank you again.

Take a look at the date of the post  :)


I was browsing through the older posts and somehow it just seemed appropriate.  The fact that this post can be mistaken for something new shows how closely HTC has stayed to their stated goal.  

They deserve a for a job well done (even if I don't like everything about AH).

Regardless of what some may say, you guys have put together a wonderful package at a wonderful price.

Dont let the vocal minority get you down, 95% of the community is 110% behind you.  Its nice to see the link between customers and creators reassert itself.

When you look at the quote above, I would say that there will not be a WWI sim, as they shall keep the focus on one thing only. (Personal I think this is a good thing)

If they started producing a WWI sim, I bet AH updates had to be cut down to one or two a year, maximum.

And that would probably kill AH slowly, so I say, stay focused on AH , and keep it the best there is :D

Pyro and HT!

What an amazing playground you guys have built. I'd give up my phone, TV etc... before AH. And unlike most programmers... you guys get to step into your 'matrix' for some fun too. Do you guys ever log on and just sit in the tower and point... 'I made that...yep... made that too... I remember when I made that, that too... hey... you are riding in that plane I built... yep made that boulder too... I mean... where did that come from! Who put that here?' Just kidding. That must be seriously cool though.
