Ahh Haaaa,

Good spot sherlock!!!

I wonder if hotmail has some special feature which refuses mail from a mailing control such as dundas mailer, which i use in the app.  Ill set up an account tomorrow and give it a shot.  If it is hotmail refusing the mail then there aint much I can do.

I've already tried going around to bills place and threatening his pet goldfish.

Anyway guys I will add you to the DB manually.

Doh,

Of course if hotmail refuses the mail now, it will almost certainly refuse the medal awards too.  If that turns out to be the case I will post your awards on a special webpage.  I'm afraid thats all I can do.  My web server only has dundas mailer.  I will check it out with my service provider and see if there is something they can do.

Call Bengt.  His business card says he works for hotmail and his title is "root".

I knew him when...

My site uses sendmail, but that's only because that's what I loaded.

Short version: If you need a place to send such things, I can arrange one for you.

Puck,

My ISP uses 'Dundas Mailer'  Its a pretty cool mail control.  I have a strong feeling that hotmail is configured to bounce mails from all mailing controls/programs.  I would be interested to hear from anyone who can contradict this. especially if they tell me what mail control/program is being used.

are they bouncing or just going into the junk mail folder?

If those with hotmail accts were to set up the CAP medal emailer as a friend it shouldnt bounce, thats for sure
