I log onto the boards, see all the new messages, read one message in the CM boards, click Aces High BB to go back to the main list - and everything is marked read! I really wish messages would remain unread until either I physically look at them or manually mark a message/thread read..... I am sure many important messages get missed, especially in the CM forum, when this happens; usually, as the result of reading or writing a long message and timing out - but occasionally as now, when I spent about 30 seconds reading one. Are there any settings that can be changed so this doesn't happen - or at least allow a bit of extra time before "timing out"?

Really? I must have missed that post! Probably another example of being "marked read" before I even saw it!

Hi Flossy, sorry I can't find his actual post for ya. All I could find is Lazerus' postin' Hitech's Search Feature comment. Here 'tis:http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=63637 (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=63637) :)
Btw are you getting email notices of replies to your posts? I'm still getting nothin' !

Thanks, Marauder.... yeah, seems I did miss that one - though I don't read absolutely everything! :D If I'd have seen it as an unread message though, I probably would have read it.
I never did use the "email reply" option, as I usually check these forums several times a day anyway. :)
Once again, this morning, I have everything marked read after spending a few minutes posting a message, and now having to go purely on the times of "last post" to a thread to determine if there is anything new....
