Title: AMD motherboards - any of you use any of these?

Sharky extreme had an article on 333 motherboards.  These three were the winners.  Anyone use any of them, or have other recommendations?


3. ASUS A7V333 - $118 at newegg
2. MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU - $75 refurb at newegg
1. EPoX 8K3A+ - $120 at newegg

Looks like the MSI KT3 Ultra2 might be the best bet...

I have the Asus a7v333 running an xp1800 with cas 2 corsair ddr333 ram.
hightly recomended.
Took me a while to find the correct settings to get the cas 2 ram to full speed though.

Kratzer I use the stock HS and fan on my XP1800+ (@140fsb)
no probs at all, peaks around 47 deg C

Yeah, that's what I ended up going with.  If it gives me toejam, I'll get something fancy.

    I use the KT3-Ultra2 and have had no issues at all with it.   Enjoy your new system.

I have a MSI K7T266 Pro2. Its great. Anyone know if it will run an XP2600or faster with a BIOS upgrade. No rush. XP1800 is fine just now.
