Hi All,
Just received Cougar HOTAS with SIMPED rudders, my question is:
How do I set sensitivity on the pitch axis? I've tried in HOTAS set-up and in Aces High to smooth out the sensitivity but still find it 'extreme'. I've set it in Aces High starting at the bottom and a very gradual curve up with the last column only at about 70% but still find it touchy. Is there a way of fine tuning other than Aces High? I understand I am NOT to configure in Windows.
My machine is a 2GHz P4 with 256 DDR and a Prophet 2 64 video card.
Any help would be appreciated. BTW, I'm using REVIN's files for the Cougar Hotas.

I use my Cougar with stock values for the axis both in the Cougar but I think Zeb has been playing around with his so perhaps he can help, I tried to do a search to find one of his posts but the search function on this board has been disabled :(

Thanks so much guys... I set all my values at zero in the Cougar HOTAS program then set my scales in Aces High, just a little tweaking to do but I have all but eliminated the bounce. To test this I am now once again able to fly through a hanger inverted in a 'pony', impossible before, even with the ground at my butt.
Cheers, and again, thanks!!
As a footnote, I'm just back in the SIM skies after an extending hiatus living in Northern Manitoba on a lake in a log home. Reality set in and I realized the dial-up connection 75 miles in the boonies wasn't condusive to on-line simming, so I sold the house, bought a better 'puter and have DSL..... :D
