Title: Desktop resolution vs. AH resolution
Post by: Ripsnort on September 10, 2002, 11:07:50 AM
Odd occurence when setting up the new box yesterday (See sig for new set up, video card info)

When I had my desktop resolution at 1024X, and AH at 1280X, the black outs in AH would be "blocky", not a smooth transition, almost like "lights out" blocky.

Once setting the desktop resolution to 1280, same as AH, it would go away.

Try putting 'disable palettized textures' in video options.

I've seen that before Ripsnort.  Disabling palletized textures might take care of that.  Some nVidia driver revisions don't have the issue either.
