The Bf-110 has no external (f4) view. That's as it should be. But five aircraft, the SBD, A-20, Boston, D3a Val, and Il-2 have virtually identical seating and pilot/gunner views, but are allowed the external view.
Is it possible to change the view available plane by plane? Or do all bombers automatically get the external view?
The Ar234 is a special case: it was equipped with a backwards-looking periscope. That's the thing on the right above your forehead in the cockpit. Could the external view be eliminated and exchanged for a rear view through the periscope using the keypad 2 key?

It occurs to me that the TBM probably should not have an exterior veiw either. It does have the third gun position underneath, but I don't think that adds much.

I think the external should be removed also BUT!!!!
If it could be coded so that if u DON'T have a gunner your 6 view sees thru the imaginary gunners eyes that would suffice
These planes would never fly combat without a rear gunner (except in extreme circumstances) so there always would be someone able to see out the back..
