I guess this is for Mitsui or anyone else who likes making sounds for AH.
I was watching some Gun Camera footage today (trying to improve my gunnery skills !!!) and noticed the distinct 'thump' produced by canon shells when they actually hit the target.
The noise is clearly different to the sound of the canon firing (much deeper) and can be seen to coincide with strikes on the aircraft.
Is there any way to model/reproduce that within AH ? If so, who is going to rise to the challenge ?

The problem is, there's 1 set of hit sounds, and it doesn't change depending on the type of ammo used.

I've borrowed sounds from other games as well like Rouge Spear etc...

If u have cfs and /or cfs2, you can hunt for sounds (such as
explosions or bullet hits and much more), the sounds are
100% compatable with AH, just have to highlight
the sound u like and save as the file u would like
to replace in HTC\Aces High\Sounds.
(Aways make a complete backup of your sound files before
changeing them)
If youre talking abi=out the sound of the bullet hitting the
enemy plane from your cockpit, there would have to be a
file created by HTC and inserted in the code at the appropriated
spot. But that would be way down on the prority list
for HTC guys.
