It is doubtful IS-3 saw any combat - it was present in victory parades and that was about it.
IS-2 did see combat though.

I've been pushing for the Sherman tank for a couple of months now. I think it fills the void between the Ostwind and the heavier Panzer tank and would be useful for town defense.
I'd also like to see the Flakpanzer wirblewind introduced, mostly to fill the void between the M-16 and the Ostwind.

A complete set of ground vehicles would also include these:
M-3 Stuart
Hellcat tank destroyer
M-24 Chaffee
Panzer Mk. V, Panther
Kubelwagen
Matilda
Cromwell
Churchill
Konigstiger (Nah-on second thought...)
Sherman Firefly
Mercedes-Benz Staff Car

the 105 was a short barreled low velocity canon for infantry support. It was an HE only weapon with limited HEAT rounds. What AH needs is either the "jumbo" a heavily up armoured 75mm (short barrel) used as a platoon lead (very few ever knocked out from frontal shots). Or the upgunned 76mm sherman.

Fill a void?
It's a combonation of the survivability and lethality of an ostwind, and the firing rate of an m16. Would make an EXCELLENT addition, but it's a definite perk.

If HTC puts in the IS-3 (even with massive perks and ship gunner style eny) and models it right, I would never complain about anything ever again
