Title: Camble's Chicken Noodle Soup
Post by: Udie on September 18, 2002, 05:57:31 PM
:D

This stuff is kick arse!  Less than a dollar for a can.  Heats up in about 1 or 2 minutes, and I eat it with a fork and a spoon and a whole lot of crackers.  I've been eating it almost every night since I got sick from the meds they gave me.  In 2 weeks I've gained almost 20 lbs!!!!  I'm finishing a bowl right now too :)  ahhhh slurrrp.

 A new found addiction :D

WTG bud .... thers nothing better you could do for yourself than that! :)

ex-girlfriend's mom was a smoker (pot) since late 60's and she's a MESS ... manic-depressive and other related mental illnesses. divorced when ex was 10. hasn't had a real job for 20 yrs. hasn't had her own apartment even. lives off disability. shacked up with a guy who beats her. attempted suicide. i could go on but you get the idea.  heck she even still smokes when on manic meds.

for anyone who says long term smoking of pot causes no mental problems ... spend a week with her!

1 month?  WTG.  give it another 40-60 days and you'll find yourself in good moods & smiling without any herbs.

was the weirdest thing. I quit several years ago. about 80-90 days later I was driving down the highway, and completely out of the blue, I started smiling and feeling so good I felt like laughing out loud.  completely took me by suprise. feeling great with a clear mind to enjoy it, weird.  I hadn't had that happen since I was a kid.

was a nice bonus for quiting.  seems like the dope was bringing my good moods on demand, and not leaving any for when I wasn't high. after years of use I guess I'd just excepted that I never had good moods without it.

Speaking of noodles, did any of you see that guy on Believe It Or Not who sucked speghetti noodles up his nose and spit them out his mouth? He said he learned to do that while working at Campbell's Soup. I'm a Lipton man personally.

Hey, I just found out at work they sell Kellogs Frosted Flakes in plastic bowls.  Just pull of the wrapper on top, add milk, and instant sugar laden cereal.  Way cool.

Right now, I have a bowl of it in my desk, a carton of milk in the little office frig, and I will spend 15 minutes being paid by my company tomrrow to eat them Frosted Flakes.  :)

The soda crackers are the ticket..but they have to be fresh so they just crumble to dust.
the Tomato is excellent as well..but make it with milk not water...

I was like that until about 2 weeks ago!!  Unfortunately for me the extra 20lbs is all in my gut!!!  My back doesn't seem to like the extra weight either, it's been hurting real bad this week.  I think that major drug overdose the doctor gave me switched something on the inside.

I'm not really eating any more than  I did before my episode in the hospital.  So I can't explain the sudden weight gain.  Saw my dad last saturday and the first thing he said was "Son you've gained some weight you look good"

Maybe it's because I'm 33 though who knows? Gonna have to start working out now though or I'll be a pot bellie udie :D

And yes I'm eating chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight,  AGAIN :)

You guys know the real deal behind the Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup can? The white and red one, not the chunky...

It's the perfect size, use of metal, and amount of broth/noodles/chicken to be econimcally feasible to purchase, yet return a lot of profits.

Booya! I'm learnded!

I only eat that stuff when I'm sick tho, the chunky chicken noodle from campbells is a LOT better!

Campbell's Chicken Gumbo is the soup of the gods.  Even better if you thicken it up by adding more veggies.

The problem with TOO much soup and crackers in your diet is you may end up like this:

I and every1 I know, knows of a real soup nazi in my town. Everytime anyone goes there, we get the worst service but the food is great. Ask for or order water or a drink after the owner has come by and taken the order and he will yell at you and say, "go get you own tea". Ha, his food is good so people come back otherwise... Its fun eating there cas we always joke amongst ourselves about the soup nazi he is. He slams the menu and does other mean stuff to his customers and in general is very arrogant.

Duc Phuc in downtown San Jose. Its a beef noodle restaurant. After you order your meal, order a water or a tea and he will say, "go get it yourself". But if your a westerner, he might be nice and go get it for you first time your in his restaurant. hehe.

Its on Santa Clara St near the De Anza Hotel acress the streat from the big Mexican two floor restaurant.

Campbell's Bean and Bacon is a grreat soup also, and very filling.  Add crackers and some pepper, ummmm! :)

Great soup...except for the side-effects. ;)
