Title: Ta 152 Grün 9
Post by: Wilbus on September 19, 2002, 08:25:28 AM
Was indeed a Ta152 H-1, it was last flown in combat by Willi Reshke. It was later brought to England in the belly of an Arado 232.
There it was test flown, although never with MW50 and GM1 and was later (ARGH ***HOLES) scrapped in 1946.

Right.

Green 9 is a Ta152-H1, werk number 150 168, and is the aircraft test by Eric Brown.

It is one of only 3  H1's that are believed to have been produced.  They were werk numbers 150- 167, 168, 169.

All other production 152's were assigned werk numbers 150-001 thru 150-040.

Aircraft number 167 was captured by the Americans in flyable condition at Efurt-North  on 15 April 1945.

Aircraft numbers 168 and 169 were captured at Leck.
