Title: perked loadouts ?
Post by: Hristo on September 20, 2002, 10:16:05 AM: Just found out that only 100 3 cannon La-7 were made and were used in closing months of the war.

How about perked loadouts like various wonder weapons for 190, Mistels etc ?

500 hundred odd were made before the end of hostilities only a few hundred saw active service.............

I think perking the 3 cannon la7 would be a good idea........... is perking based upon historical accuracy or a method of controlling usage and creating balance?

Add the 4 hispano Pony B as a perk
add the R4m to the 262 as a 250 point perk..lol
add the 75mm to the Ju88 as a perk
add the 6 20mm fw190a as a perk
add the 2*20 1 * 30mm 190d as a perk.

I love the idea of perking the 1000 lb bombs. The 500-pounders were FAR more commonly used.

The cannon armed F4U-4 didn't see service in WWII.

Oops. My bad. They brought it back in 1951. This must be between 1951 and 1955, though, since it was modified to be an angled deck carrier.

There is no 190 model that carries 6 20mm. There's one that carries 2 30mms, 2 20mms, and 2 13mms!!! Maybe that's the one you were thinkng of.

the underwing duel 20mm gondolas kept the wing root 20mms. for a total of 6 mg151/20s and 2* 7.92 cowl guns

There were several other loadoutas aswell that included more 30mm etc (tests were made with underwing Mk 103's but they never went into full scale production for the 190)
