I am officially addicted to AH. Yesterday was the nicest day we had here for a long time (60 and sunny) and i spent the whole day playing AH. I looked outside and thought should i go outside or.....ahh hell Aces High is more fun.
Something about getting that kill makes me come back for more. Yeah i only get one kill maybe every 20 flights but DAMN is it exciting!! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
THANKS FOR MAKING ME ADDICTED!!!!

lol.
Next time, please step forward, formally identify yourself, admit to the group here that you do indeed recognize you crave the same thing we all do and then purge (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

As a AH player you dont need to buy any suntan lotion or be afraid of getting a skin-cancer.
So in a long run you save lots of money (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

LOL – Yeah, the “honey-do” list for this summer’s home improvements are growing. I’m a lot closer to being Richthofen then I am Villa. My wife however has not yet figured this out (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

ok, hello i'm Jason and....a ...... umm........ shivers i'm addicted to Aces High.

Don't be afraid nor ashamed young man, your in the company of fellow pilots who too have forsaken sunlight (amongst other things) for the satsifaction of playing in the finest and IMHO most difficult online flight sim there is. Not long from now you'll start getting 2 kills per 20 sorties, now thats a time to rejoice!
-
Do not despair! There is now a twelve step program for AH addicts. Unfortunately, it's on an eleven step pier!!

Hi OpIvy,
Welcome aboard (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
You have still got a few stages to go through yet I fear.
How many others find it necessary to "Check 6" in the rear view mirror when driving far more than they used to? (Not a bad thing) or find yourself trying to position for a deflection shot after some bastige has just cut you up.
The latest for me was sending an internal email at work to one of the management groups and signing it "snafu" Duh

Unfortunately the AH community is probably the wrong place to admit to or look for help for your gaming addiction.
However my wife is available for 24 hr, 7 day a week counselling.
She has some great ideas that can be of help.
As an example, you more than likely couldn't play with your joystick shoved up your hiney.
hope this has been helpfull

Or how about when your girlfriend accuses you of running out on an arguement. You tell her you are just "extending".

Yes, I tend to use "Roger!" a lot, without ever even thinking about it.
You just kind of stutter when people give you that blank stare, and then say, "Um, I mean...yes!

Well, my wife says i'm addicted. I don't know why she feels this way. It's not like I'm on it ALL the time. Just evenings, except the third tuesday of the month, and my weekend H2H fix, which I've told her many times I'll keep to 12 hours a day. Sheesh, I just don't get it...

Yesterday, I was doing a practice stage check for my flight training here at Western Mich Univ, and I mistakenly said to my instructor "5 minutes to the next target." I seriously think Aces High makes me better at navigation, and estimating times/distances, but my phrasiology has taken a turn for the worse (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I was talking to soda on the phone yesterday while we were setting something up in the TA. After about 2 minutes I realized I was hitting T to transmit every time I talked to him.....

Whenever I'm driving and a plane passes overhead I'm looking for the "2" key on the dashboard to access my Mini Cooper's 37 mm turret... (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
