Face shooter really existed, This beaufighter pilot made it back to base after a 20mm strike to the windscreen.  Not only did they replace the screen they replaced the  seat also, I bet.  Smelled like crap or something.:eek:

your right , hein, I fabricated the story trying to do my part to alleviate some of the tension in the ma.  I consider myself severly carpet burned and will try not to make up such heinous stories in the future.;)   Really file was too big, will try and figure out different way to post, its a really nice pic
