I told someone about this game and he downloaded everyting and he went to go play but they ask for a credit card ##. I thought the first week or two were free? Has this changed?

No it hasnt changed, you friend has allready tryed the game sometime within the last 1 1/2 years. So even if he tryed it, didnt pay and came back a year later the system knows he had the 2 week trail.
To get around this you will have to ask JOEMUD as he is now on his 53rd free 2 week trial.

Ahh but they are OpIvy and you still have to give them a CC # in order to get the two week trial. At least that is my understanding.

Nope, you don't have to give them any CC# to get a 2 week trial. Now if he's trying to get another 2 week trial they'll show him a little message asking for that info.

I am pretty sure that if you try to access your 2-week trial account from another computer, the system decides that your trial has expired. That's what happened to me when I tried to show AH to my coworkers from my office - should have created a different account alotgether.

Just e-mail HTC about it. A buddy of mine signed up for the 2-week tryout recently and couldn't play anything but H2H because the system thought he had an existing account (he never did). HTC said this sometimes happens, and they set him up with a valid 2-week trial. They responded almost immediately.
