Oakland and Linda Lovelace have alot in common when it comes to post season play (They both choke on da big one....)
I'll pick Miami and GB in the big dance, Miami winning it all.

On the other hand, the officials might find a way to make an especially lousy call and give the game to the other team.

LOL on the officials..., there is the "I'm a victim!" again ;)

2nd Round
San Fran cant beat NO in the NFC championship if Philly already beat NO in the 2nd round :D The NFC is going to philly this year. San Fran wont be able to stop McNabb.
I may be going out on a limb here, but with their new found running game, I dont think Miami will pull their annual fade, and will take the AFC. Raiders might be a little too banged up by then. Would like to see the Raiders there, I like watching them this year, but my gut says Miami.
This year the Superbowl goes to philly. Especially if they can manage to have a healthy D line by that time. They have always had a dominating D, but now it appears that they have the strong offence they have always lacked. This is McNabb's year.

Oops I switched 'em.
MIA has Fieldler at QB. No way is the rest of the team good enough to make up for him.
-
You could be right about Fiedler. He hasnt really put up big numbers, although he hasnt really had to. Perhaps I have been over impressed with Williams. If the raiders stay healthy, it should be a good matchup. However, if there are injuries to say, the wide reciever postion, the raiders would be in tough. I love brown and rice, but those 2 are pretty damn old. I hope they dont take a big hit.

If by "da big one" you mean the Superbowl, remember that the Raiders are 3-1 in the Big Game. Not too many teams have won as many Superbowls or as many playoff games as the Silver and Black.
If you are referring to the last two playoff seasons I would hardly call either game a "choke". In 2000 an enormously fat man sat on the best QB in the AFC and took him out of the game, and in 2001 the game was decided by a bogus instant replay call. In both cases the team was struck by "Acts of God" in games that could easily have gone the Raiders' way. Furthermore the Raiders won a playoff game in each year. I don't see this as choking. If they could have protected Gannon a little better and avoided the most bizarre fluke replay call in league history, they could have won two more Superbowls. There is so much parity in the league now that you have to get "the breaks" to win it all. The Raiders have definitely not gotten their share of breaks lately, but they will keep fighting for the trophy.

The AFC/NFC championship games IMO are "the big one", the Superbowl is just an extended game season )
Actually, I keep thinking back to that Buffalo AFC Championship game Funked. :) What was it, 115-3?

Just read ABC is going to carry the Super Bowl in HD!
