I guess most of these 367430 guys are newbies who dont care about having a "real" handle cause the maybe just want to try it out.

Yes u can change ur handle. But not by urself. U have to write a e-mail to:
support@hitechcreations.com

They will, if the name u want is available, change ur name.
But ull lost all ur perk points, which after 3 days cant not to much.

hope it helped

Just call them "hey numberboy".

The lack of an easily identifiable handle makes it hard to give them a voice 6 call, or even to communicate with them.  I hope that when new guys realize a full number handle doesnt serve them well in the game, they contact HTC and get it changed.

Otherwise, show patience and accept that they get to decide what to be called, and if numbers they choose, numbers it is.

It's been a while since I registered so I don't know if this is still the case, but there was some wording problems with the registration process, people sometimes type in their password into their username.  I presume the number is also these people's password.

Funny one,
I saw a guys name the other day and said "wow, that one wont last more than a couple days." It was *ucker, with a capitol F.

In the course of the next few minutes as this guy was rolling twrd a V base, I saw low level AC inbound.

I sent the guy a "chk6" just to give him a heads up and almost got myself muted.

I laughed and laughed.

Needless to say, I've not seen him since.

Well, all the cool handles are taken aren't they? So I got fed up while trying to find something that wasn't taken, and used my unix log in name at work: hogenbor

7 characters of my last name (Hogenboom = Dutch, means 'high tree') + the first of my first name which happens to be Ronald.

How utterly boring can you get :-D

Most of the common names are taken, but there are pleanty of names out there.  Many times the name doesnt need to be exact to get the point accross.  Im sure there are many easy to say names, just not that sweet squeaken one you want (ACE is taken ta know...along with Yeager, and a few other names people want).

I would not choose a name with a number after it like ACE31, if its a currently active handle.  Makes you less likely to be recognized as theres prob an ACE51 and an ACE47 too.  Also Gunman** would be a poor choice....trust me!

No matter what you choose, pick something easy to recognize ( ILLIJILLI is imposible to blurt out in combat, and try not to pick something that would cause common mispronounciation (Sutpld comes to mind...he got called stupid about 75% of the time).  Choose somthing with either one clean sylable ( POT, KOT, HOT etc) or two distinc sylables (REDHOT, ICEDUDE, PERKMAN ect) for the ease of use of your fellow players.   In the heat of combat, the shorter the name the better....OH, and do not choose a name that is common in radio chatter, take it from me (2late4u), it was a nightmare because peope where always saying "I was too late, ooops too late, check six bee...too late sorry"...never knew when someone was addressing me directly and not making a statement about being "too late"

Actually all they do is reset your account, you may then try whatever new handle you would like - just as you did when you initially registered.
