Title: Enron stuff cheap!

http://www.dovebid.com/Auctions/AuctionDetail.asp?auctionID=1480

It loads very slowly, I think everyone's getting in quick to put a bid on a plasma tv.

I hear the steel "Enron" sign out front of the HQ is expected to be a big-ticket collectible.  The Smithsonian is involved in taking some of the materials as part of their American history museum.

Why this auction sucks:

(a) can't bid online
(b) have to arrange for your own shipping
(c) 13% fee by the auction company
(d) have to sign and return a release form to Enron for corporate assets
(e) did I mention that you can't bid online?
(f) sales tax

Back to eBay I go.

That toejam should be free... f*ck that, this means that not only will the enron jack tulips have their money when they get out... they are getting to auction off their toejam for money so they can still balance it out.

13% is hella steep for auction fees - normally in the 2% - 5% range.  those enron boyz still cleaning up!

Turns out prices are around two times retail price -  the socalled 'scandal' effect.

Too bad. Was looking forward to having 1km^2 of servers.
