A panzer 1b retrofited with a sig 33 howitzer is called a sig 1b...

pongo, I dont know "all there is to know" about German armor. But the nomenclature that Ambos and Brady replied with matches the caption under the photo.  Sorry, no soup for you!!

The only name I have ever seen for that vehicle other then "Heavy Infantry Gun 33 on Panzer Ib Chassis" was Sig 1b
Schwere Infantry Gun 1b I would imagine..
