I have down loaded the file twice, is the file to read ACESHI1 / ACESHI~1 or did I pick up something in the download?
Tks

Best bet is go straight to the download site:
hitechcreations.com > HTC Home > Downloads.
AH1107.EXE 32.5 MB will be the full game install, I believe.
Any problems with getting it from there, post again. We'll try to help.

Yes, I use GetRight download manager.
It helped me get Unreal Tournament 2003 Demo, a 100MB file on dial up. And I had to download it twice LoL, first one was corrupted.

[ I know, with Aces High, you don't NEED any other games. ]

I'm not sure of what a down load manager is, maybe you could direct me. I disabled my antivirus and deleted all relations with AH in my system then downloaded the line from STEELY07's reply. I went to install AH, this is what it said...
Destination folder
c:\Progra~1\HTC\ACESHI~1
I was able to play AH before with the odd file with no problems, just felt something may be wondering around (just a feeling-no indication).
I will wait for your reply before I install AH

What I've found is you get this funky directory with the ~ on it if you've had a previous install of AH. To get rid of this do the following...
Uninstall AH.
Run regedit and do a search for AcesHigh
Delete all the registries related to AH
Delete the HTC directory. Backup any custom sounds, sights etc
Reinstall AH from a fresh download.
Worked for me. Hope this helps

A download manager is a program that lets you resume a download you already started and need to restart later or if you are downloading a really large file and get close to the end, and say you loose the connection, you can restart where you left off opposed to having to reload the whole thing from scratch.
The one I use is GetRight, and you can get a version of it here:
http://www.getright.com/
There are definately others and I haven't sent GetRight any money, so I occasionally get a 'wait, do you want to buy this?' window, but that doesn't effect the downloads.
Hope that helps,
