thnx for reply.
I have installed DX 8a and the card is using the latest driver.

try to delete video.cfg file from AH folder and restart AH.
-
Uhm is that same videocard used in some laptops with 2,5megs video-RAM ?
-
yes, I have tryed multiple times to delete video.cfg and ristart with a different resolution and the result/problem has been consistent. DX version is 8.1
The card ( on my dell laptop )is MagicMedia 265AV 2.5 MB video mem.
I also see under DirectX Diagnostic tools:
Direct draw: Enabled
Direct 3DC accellerator: NotAvailable :(
AGP Texture accell.: NotAvailable.

You need a 3D graphics processor (which that is not) and the card needs to have atleast 16MB of onboard memory (which that does not have)...
Basically, you need to get a new video card.
I'm assuming you have a laptop, in which case you need to buy a new laptop.

That basically answers my questions :D.
At this point I should get a new PC which is cheaper than a laptop even with a big monitor.
I've been looking for a new PC and most of the affordable ones have a "GForce 16MB".
I'm looking at my PC now and I have an Nvidia Gforce DDR AGP Approx total mem is:
63.5 MB ??
Does it mean that my PC has 4 times the video mem capabilities as the many new PCs i see in stores?
Thnx. For your help.

That video card has 64MB of DDR memory.
It has anywere between 8 and 2 times as much memory as most video cards shipping with today's computers.
Some PCs ship with cards that have 64 or even 128MB of onboard memory in them (the latter is very very rare).
