Title: GPL has arrived... what do I need to install?

Grand Prix Legends arrived today.  What do I need to install?  Just the official patches found on this page?

Good god, I sure as hell HOPE there are 3rd party add ons that improve this game.  That, or everyone playing it has a crappy PC that won't play the new stuff...

Graphics and sounds are crap... good for 1997, but damn... if I wanted to look at green blobs I'd play Pole Position.

Congrats Dude!

Step #1: Goto http://www.racesimcentral.com/guides/gpl/intro/gplintro.shtml and follow the guide.  That's it that's all.  It has links to all the patches, upgrades, and custom mods.

There are some really great hi-res patches and mods. They really improve the look of it.

Beware, it's got a really steep learning curve - I bought the Sidewinder FFB wheel and pedals and still had trouble with it. :)
