Scoring is all explained here:  http://www.hitechcreations.com/scoring.html - from that page:

 Death Multipliers
 Landed - 1.0
 Discoed - 0.25
 Bailed - 0.5
 Ditched - 0.75
 Captured - 0.4
 Killed - 0.25
 Crashed - 0.25

				Thanks Flossy :)

Always suspected bailing was better than riding "the flaming chariot" into the ground from the perkies point of view, but never knew for sure.

Perk points don't follow those "normal" point rules however:

With those there are only either:

 Landed: 1.25 x perk points
Anything else: 1.00 x perk points

Besides this, manouver kills (kills awarded for enemy augering without any damage by you) don't give you any perk points.

 It's all explained here http://www.hitechcreations.com/perks.html

Ooops, I was confusing Points with Perk Points..... my apologies!  :o  Anyway, as Snefens said, you get more Perk Points for landing your kills....  :)
