grainy & flat comes to mind. Clouds look nice though.

Graphics in IL2 still blows away CFS3.
-
He should have posted those in the screenshots section. :D
IL-2 still has it beat in all departments and CFS3 looks like it will not be getting my money this time around. I lost my copy of CFS2 and I don't want to spend $40 for a nearly 3 year old game but somehow all M$ games seem to hold their dollar value well. No matter how crappy they are. The only thing I really liked about CFS2 was the opportunity to land on CV's.

That looks like toejam...

Is mangrove found in Europe?

The pics dont impress me at all.
AFAIK CFS3 uses same engine like FS2002 ? if so, there are some
great Add-ons for Fs2002 out, like from the FSW Group (http://fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html) .
They create superb Clouds for Fs2002 and maybe soon for CFS3 too.
Check this Thunderstorm Clouds (http://fsw.simflight.com/FSWRealThunderstormKillerColored.html) out !

I always found all the CFS series, ugly. Someone in the last thread linked, said it better than I could.
"I prefer EAW"
-
What impresses me is the dynamic campaign..If it works and the roll rate bug has been fixed I'll put that box next to EAW,IL2 and Reb Baron 3.
-
I'm with GRUNHERZ on this one. Those were complete crap.
