Im sitting here reading some stuff before I goto bed and I can distinctly smell the odor of a strong fart. Yet its odd because I did not fart? Obsolutely strange. How could this have occured? There must have been a fart in order for the smell to be here. What a trip.

Have you got a dog?  It could have farted.  Hell, I used to blame any and all farts on my dog.

Now I blame my wife. ;)

Speaking of farts...I had an embarrassing fart episode recently.  I was in the office at about 7.30pm and was retrieving something from the printer.  One of our auditors playfully poked me in the side as she was leaving.  I didn't know I even had to fart, but her action of poking me in the side caused me to tense up....and out it came.

The worst part was that there was no-one else around to blame it on.  It was me and could only have been me.

The girl started to laugh...and didn't stop until she got to her destination after leaving the office.  Ironically she was heading to a get together with the rest of our audit staff and some other employees.  As she entered the party she was still laughing and of course the first question asked was "What is so funny?"

She told them.

Can't wait until the secret santa gift is presented at the Christmas party...I'm expecting something fart related.:rolleyes:

It's the Random Gas Theory (RGT).  Unexplanable random smells of flatulences occur at random moments.  They are not as frequent to suggest you or your friends/family/coworkers forget to wipe, haven't showered, or actually DID fart.  But at the same time smelly enough to suggest "something flipping stinks!"  This has had me guessing for many years.  Just accept it, random gas will happen to you at some point in your life... consider yourself lucky to experience such a phenomenon.

Actually it turns out it was just a rotting dish of spagetti. I skipped the mushrooms and they were starting to stink up the place.
